Windows won't start - not even in safe mode : follow the tutorial that writhziden suggested, but as you cannot run your computer in safe mode, too; and it happened due to some modifications in registry, windows won't start, also won't start in safe mode.. Because the laptop won't load windows, it continuously restarts, wont even go into safe mode. restarts and then comes up with repair. i have tried to boot from puppy linux and from various windows.

Windows won't start, even in safe mode when i went to turn on my gateway laptop this morning, it wouldn't start up. i have windows 7, and have been running on it fine for about four months.. Win 7 won't boot, even in safe mode. equilibrium31 aug 10, how about removing the battery and trying to start the computer on power only? that way we can check if the battery is the issue or not..
