I then reconfigured the cabling to be - modem to router, router to pc. now, the red wan light still exists, the asus router setup website cannot find the router, i have no ethernet connection. Asus → rt-ac3100 unable to connect to wan, and now can't even configure. the wan light on top stayed pink (not red, not white, pink). the light on the router is off, it doesn't show up.
